You might have made a slightly unorthodox decision by leaving Texas in a hasty manner, but you did what you thought was best, and I commend you for that. All on your own you made things happen, which is actually not that common for individuals to do in their lives.

At this point, looking forward is the best thing you can do being that the present seems to have run its course. For your next phase in life, I'm going to give you the 5 P's that my drama teacher preached: Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance. learn it. live it. Life is better when you don't walk around with your head up your booty.

A lot of people are supporting you in this next decision and are really looking forward to seeing where you decide to focus your energies. The best part about this next step is that you can practically do anything you want right now - your only obligation is to make sure that this next part of your life includes the creation of something viable and sustaining. As long as you're focused on attaining those life-changing ground-breaking goals, the possibilities are certainly endless. Don't rush it. think about it. But when you're ready to make your move, there are a thousand ships ready to set sail and back you up no matter what.

A friend recently reminded me that it's also not only the past that we should not dwell on, but also the future. At one point our present was our future, and we need to stop and appreciate what we've accomplished. The present is somehow the easiest part of life to overlook and to not appreciate. Perhaps that's true because we don't normally anticipate all of the challenges that await us in the future... so that when we reach the future and it becomes the present, we're somehow unsatisfied when we encounter unexpected difficulties. However, beneath the hardship, you'll see your goal and hopefully realize that the challenges only add to the feeling of accomplishment. Make goals, but don't forget to reward yourself when you've reached a goal even when it's a bit rough around the edges.

You've said a lot in such a short entry. It's layered in such a way that when I first read it, I smiled because it triggered a lot of emotions in me. Again, I know that your reason for writing this isn't the same reason that I relate to what you've written, but just the fact that you wrote it makes me smile once again. We have faith.

I know that these are your words, but they're my feelings as well in a similar context. This is why I like to read your thoughts because you're able to express your emotions in such a precise manner... it's a gift.

Time flies..and you have the means to help your time take off!! So just use them and you won't even notice that a year or two have already passed..
As I once said..the 3P's -pain, paitience and persistance- have to come before the commonly wanted H - Happiness!..

It's true that Lebanon doesn't have much of order, structure or 24/7 electricity! But it is -surely- the country you'd like to spend your vacation in,more than once..
No matter how much you think you've seen from Lebanon, there's always something one of your senses have missed :) If you've seen the mountains, may be you've missed the smell of the sea..If you've tasted Taboula, you better have eaten it either in the middle of the crazy loud noise of your family if you were Lebanese, or while listening to the quite night music.. Above all and the weirdest, if you ever have been to Lebanon and you didn't feel the urge to touch every glimmering thing you see infront of you; the sand, the snow, the pine..everything!, then trust me..you definately need another visit! ;)
I'm not trying to encourage tourism here!:P I'm only saying what I've personally seen in this land of never-ending-beauty, despite the lack of many other essential things. :)
